Bayou Classic's aluminum stock pots are your better brand of aluminum stock pots compared to other local brands of aluminum stock pots. The difference between these aluminum stock pots and other known brands of aluminum stock pots are the thickness. With your other brands, you'll find that their aluminum stock pots may be thick around the sides of the stock pot, however, test the bottom. The bottom of the aluminum stock pot is paper thin. After a few uses with a high powered burner, the bottom of your pot will begin to disintegrate or burn through. With a Bayou Classic aluminum stock pot, the thickness in the pot is the same all the way through. . . even the bottom. |
